Anyone else going to go to the Austin show?
I'll be going to the Austin show.
I just have to find out when the pillows are playing so I can go see them exclusively.
If I can't figure out aplan, i guess I'll be going to Cali.

I have no idea. I have been running through the website but i can't find where it says who plays when.
http://2008.sxsw.com/register_to_attend/
And is this how much they are charging for entrance? OMG This is expensive.
I REALLY hope this isn't true and that I'm mistaken.
EDIT: OK this shows the bands info and later on they will show their schedule so we will find out soon when they play What I'm worried about is the price

Wasn't the last Chicago show not originally planned and added at the last minute? I remember hearing something like that.
And what the hell, my headphones just croaked on me.
I remember reading something like that too.
The last Chicago show was actually the first concert I've ever been to. I'm 21 btw, so it took a long time. One of the things I remember was that there was this kid standing in front of me and my friends. He was just stiff as a board throughout the entire show until the pillows came on stage. My friend said "Holy shit! This kid just exploded in front of us!" I didn't even know that they were signing shit after the show. Man, I keep on coming back to this topic hoping to see Chicago on the tour. This wait is painful.
The 2005 chicago was my first rock concert. and not-so-coincidentally a few weeks later I dusted off my old squier.
I know how you feel. I keep looking here and there on the net for them to pop up and keep checking here. If it's true the last show was a fluke. well... I hope it was a good enough one to bring them back.
however, worst case scenario it's roadtrip time to new york in march.

Well remember that only two of the shows have been offically announced. Plus, last year's tour had a total of seven shows, and I would think they'd add tour stops rather than subtract them after two successful tours. I bet the reason they haven't said anything about the shows yet on their site or MySpace is because they're still negotiating tour stops.
Unfortunately, I live in the State of Florida. I don't think the pillows know that this State exist! You know... they've never once visited us down here in the South East... it's not fair.
What makes it worse, is that I'm 16. I'd have to rely on my parents to provide transportation
Same boat amigo.

Well they also announced their shows a hell of a lot sooner in the past, don't forget. So i'm starting to doubt their interest in doing a more expansive tour than before. There just is very little anticipation for the tour since it was announced so suddenly.

I'll be at the NYC show. Tix on sale 1 pm today.
I'm bringing my dad again, my brother (he's 13), and I think a friend.
I don't know how the whole brother thing'll work out, I didn't see a kid younger than me (15 at the time) at the last NYC show...
Ah well, I'm sooo pumped. I am going to try and tlak to them and get autographs this time. I had to rush to a parking garage last time...

If there's a Chicago show I'll be there regardless, but I might road trip out to the NYC show too, either that or go to Anime Boston for one day cause I have some friends who recently moved out there.
