Studio Z Show [UPDATED WITH PICTURES]
[[UPDATE]] There are Pics starting on [Page 2]
So I get there are 7:00ish and its windy and rainy and they wont let us in...... but it was all worth the wait. This gig rocked. Every band brought a little somethin-somethin to the table.
First up were "The Emeralds". There music is fairly simple and has no real technicality but they are just nice energetic people. The drummer was cool. I enjoyed there performance very much.
Second up was "The Noodles". There music frekin rocked but they had absolutely no energy what so ever. The bassist looked like she had just had botox done (Eore complex is the first thing that comes to mind). The drummer was very cute. I loved the songs and overlooked the fact that they looked like they didn?t want to be there.
Third up was the frekin super rockin ?Titan Go Kings?. This performance was just amazing from beginning to end. Awesome music, great energy, very cute? every one of them. The drum line start was very awesome too. I LOVED there performance and if they were to come to California again I would for sure have to go see them. The guitarist was a little ballzy though. I was up in the very front and she had a very short skirt. At one point during the show she had just one foot up on the monitor and I was about to take a picture but then looked away (out of respect) for fear of what I might have seen (possibly very inappropriate if she wasn?t wearing shorts under there). Very cute and awesome band.
Fourth up was ?Tsushimsmire? and all I can say is?.jaw dropper. There Bassist is wild, funky, crazy, and amazing. This band had the dopest and most technical songs out of all the bands that night. You need to go buy there CD right away. I loved them very much. They are very sweet people and damn.. that bassist is just amazing. Keep that funky music going. The lead singer is just the sweetest thing. She let me get my picture with her . LOVED EM LOVED EM LOVED EM
Fifth band up for the night was ?Petty Booka? and I don?t care what anyone says.. they are frekin awesome. It was a nice break before the pillows to get my hearing back. This is just two girls with ukuleles. Anyone who can pull of playing a Ramones song as good as they did is A-OK in my book. Very nice performance and they have very good singing voices.
An the last band of the night was?????THE PILLOWS?!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!.
When they walked on stage I was amazed. They are flippin amazing. I made them shirts to give them and handed them out the best I could. I ended up giving the drummers shirt to Manabe in hopes he will hand it to him for me. I asked Sawao if he would sign my guitar and then I wiped out my guitar. And he did!!!. He told me that he liked my guitar (Fender Mustang in Antigra). AWESOME. Then I was able to get Manabe to sign it as well . I was so stoked. I then put up my guitar and rocked it out. There set felt like 2 minuets long. It was so short . I wanted them to play for ever. They are so frekin amazing. Very awesome energetic performance. Although Manabe kept messing up all night it was still a sight to see. Sawao can sing with so much heart.. and he loves to see our ?Crazy Dancing?. I loved this whole night and have about 590 pics to cherish for ever.
P.S. I will try and post some pics up as soon and I figure out how to upload them to some free webhost

i think i saw you, thernohn, unless there was another guy in the front who also had them sign his guitar. i was front left... my friends and i have to thank the guy in front of us, he was really tall but he watched all the shows on his knees so that we could see better. <3
sawao kept saying how the audience was more exciting in japan and that we needed to do some crazy dancing. and he of course dove off the stage again. there was also a guy off to the side filming the audience about half the time. o__o and sawao was filming the noodles from the side during their set.
yeah. tsushimamire's bassist rocked. i am amazed she did not trip once.
the noodles just aren't showy... and i get the feeling they speak the least english out of any of the groups, ayumi (drummer) was reading her cd speech off a post-it at the austin show. ikuno (bassist) did smile when she said something about the golden gate bridge. and they were happy when i asked them for their autograph earlier.
that's the only thing i wish i could have... a pick. i swear i saw sawao hand two to this one guy.
pics soon.

That reminds me. !Thank You! to that wonderful girl out there who lent me her umbrella while I was standing in the rain. I wanted to get a pic with her but lost track of her after I got inside. Total sweet heart
