Post koi wo inotteru (written by sawao yamanaka)
performed by some pop idol in 1999 for her cd, but written for her by Sawao. The title translates to "praying for love."

Massive props to kuru, hopefully I can get the lyrics from him as well.

hmm, very interesting. I wonder if this whole rock'n'roller-created-pop song is a popular thing? I can't say that I'm at all in-touch with the pop-idol world, but I recall reading that hyde (and i think also the dude from glay) wrote songs for nakashima mika (a pop singer who's in the Nana movies)...

as for the song itself, the pillows should cover it. or the bumps. or it should remain buried in the crusty bowels of pillows lore.

It's from '99, and I like it. I think they should do what they did with pretty much every other song he wrote for another artist and release it as a b-side. Except they didn't. D:

Sure does sound like something Sawao would have written at about that time.

Wow, this is actually pretty good. Stylistically, it sounds more like the pillows' music from 1993-1996 to me.

Yeah, I guess that's kinda true. I could picture it on Living Field or Little Busters maybe.

Actually now that I think about it, this song kinda reminds me of "My Friend" by The Chewinggum Weekend. Maybe it's the chorus?

wow this is a great song. great find! and i agree with thinliine it really does sound like their '93-'96 music. i was hoping that this singer would sing at a higher pitch. she sounds a little weird singing low.

EDIT: on another note that may or may not be off topic, anyone wanna tab it?

I like it. The singer reminds me a bit of Shonen Knife. Does anyone know yet who this is?

She's a porn star, too. Just google her name. That's how I found out.

@ Lostman: I seriously doubt it.

Kuribayashi Mie is the name, some pop artist on King Records. I have the rest of the CD if anybody wants it, it's got some pretty good songs on it. Of course, the singer didn't write ANY of them, lol, but yeah.

Yeah, that's the usual Pop performer route (How do I wrote music? ¯\(°_o)/¯). But I'd like to hear some more, please.

I'll try uploading it to sendspace or megaupload later, but right now this wireless seems to not let me up at any reasonable speed, maybe they limited it to try to keep people from pirating shit or something (lol public library wireless).

i was trying to figure out who sang this song, and finally i remembered about this post hahaha. If its not too much trouble mare, could you send me the cd? I kinda wanna hear what else is on this

And I been wanting to tab this song. I like it. It is a lot like an old pillows song.
if anyone cares, the intro chords are
A Amaj7 (either a F#m7 or a A6) A (make the a chord on the fifth fret, but without playing the 6th and 5th string)
