I saw a lot of the second movie and I was unimpressed.

I've got no intention of seeing this one. :|

I've seen about half of the first one. That's it so far.

I could've gone to see it last night, but found out they were playing it too after it had started. :|

I went to it last night. I didn't really like it, but it didn't completely offend me. The Pirate Congress or whatever was an amusing scene. The second one was a long, boring, confusing affair mostly made to pay service to Depp fans. If you liked the second one, you'll probably like this one.

Man, none of you appreciate some good swashbuckling. You're too obsessed with Japan.

I do believe that merits the response, "Oh, Snap! Now what you gonna do?!!" Wouldn't you say so good sir?

I WOULD bother with a retort if I thought Jomes knew what the hell he was talking about.

Unfortunately, this isn't the case.

I guess you're right. The third installment of this franchise, based on an amusement park ride and marketed to high school girls' hormones, was Pure Pirate Genius (p.p.g. trademark of Jomel Enterprises).

really, i haven't seen a better pirate movie than disney's, even if it is modernized and has a target audience that isn't you.. Also, basing it on an amusement park ride is not a strike against it really.

Yeah, but being a boring movie is a strike against it. Sorry, but I just felt like they shouldn't have made a second and third. The first one was enjoyable, and they should have left it at that IMO. I'm glad you guys liked it, though.
