I've seen Irresponsible Captain Tylor

Well one episode that i got from Newtype magazine. It was pretty cool, I need to see that one too.

So much to watch...

EDIT: About your little animation [b]I is buster?[/b] I wouldn't know any animes like that but what about manga? There's some out there with some sketchy but yet clean drawings. That's how the guy at Megatokyo does his webcomic.

But it's pretty cool that your doing an animation. I only I wish I could do that. Sadly I'm just a anime CG/sketch artist.

Yeah, but I want to see it in animation in some way to see if it is a style worth trying. It can get really annoying if people see really rough animation for a full 6 minutes...

lol, I have it, but I don't have the time right now to watch it... There really is basically an excuse to always watch FLCL If that sentence made any sense to you, then you are truly skilled at sifting through bad grammar...

FLCL isn't very rough though. It gets crazy and hectic...but it stays clean and somewhat polished throughout.

Is that the style you're thinking of? It looks pretty solid to me. Just make sure your forms stay consistent....though this animation isn't a great example of that. But yeah.

EDIT 2: Ok, so Kid's Story is quite different from how I remember it. The style at least. Meh. Give it a watch anyway.

Was it the first episode? If so, it doesn't quite give you the best picture of what the series is like. I saw an ad for the show in Newtype, and I might even have that same disc with the episode on it, but I didn't really get into it until the second episode. When <3Yuriko<3 attacked a terrorist who was holding them hostage, knocking his gun away, and Tylor picked it up, handed it back to him, and said, "I think you dropped this" with a big grin on his face, I was hooked.

Ah yeah it was the first ep. and i believed I watched the trailer too.

Yeah, I watched that the other day, cuz you told me that the YTMND I posted was from that. I like the style of the drawing, but it's not quite what I'm looking for... I've searched all over the interweb for animation styles and such, but still not luck...

I realized that I had that disc, too. If you find it interesting at all, definitely check out a torrent on it, because the episode on that disc is not that good compared to the rest, and the dub is kinda bad.

Have you seen the OVAs Jomei? The second one gives you a much more definitive ending than the TV series.

I've seen some of them. I watched the first two (Tylor's War/An Exceptional Episode, or whatever they're called), the Christmas episode, and Yuriko's episode (Yuriko <3). I have the rest on my laptop but haven't watched, yet. I hear that the final ending of From Here to Eternity isn't so good, so I'm probably just going to remember the ending of An Exceptional Episode as how it really ends.

edit: Don't you really like the opening themes of both the series and the OVA?

The Yuriko episode isn't the last one? I'm either forgetting something or I never saw all of the OVAs. I remember I thought the ending was really good though.

I found the opening on YouTube. Now I really want to watch this show again.

Well there are 10 OVA episodes. The one you're thinking of with the happy-love ending is actually the ending of the second OVA episode. After that there are six that focus on specific characters leading into the last two which are the final ending that isn't so satisfying I hear. One of them deals with Yuriko being abducted by Raalgons, which is what I meant by the Yuriko episode.

And yes, you need to watch it again so I'm not the only one fapping over it.
