Adult Swim ran all the Samurai Chaploo episodes. It was only 26 episodes long.
Serial Experiments Lain is a total trip, but I liked it a lot.
I've been meaning to buy it on DVD. I saw it several years ago when it was airing on one of my local PBS stations, KTEH. It's definitely one of those shows you have to watch more than once.

Damn it, I watched the first episode of Lain on youtube, then I realized there's only one episode on there.

Doublepost, but.
I still haven't finished Lain, but.
I've seen some more animu, so.
Berserk is fucking awesome. In case you missed my last avatar, it was Guts as portrayed in the Berserk manga. This series is fucking awesome, and the manga continues the crazy story. Check it out!
Vision of Escaflowne was pretty good. A really enjoyable fantasy story with mildly interesting characters and a good soundtrack by Kanno Yoko. Lame ending, but cool series.
Welcome to the NHK is simply the best anime series to come out in the last year or two besides Death Note. It's about a hikikomori and a cute girl who tries to cure him with unusual methods. Highly recommended.
Irresponsible Captain Tylor looked like the stupidest show ever, but it was fucking AWESOME. It's funny in the same way as Trigun, and, interestingly enough, Tylor is like Vash in some ways, with some Lupin III thrown in. Also, Yuriko Star = (10 Jomel dollars say I'm the only one here who has seen this )

Yeah I would totally recommend Escaflowne and the movie too, it has a nice story line despite the crappy ending. But van is so cool
Mmm stuff to watch....
Ouran High School Host Club- a very funny anime to watch and nice story line and characters
Please Teacher!- a very nice anime to watch, nice story line and art.
I would say D.N.Angel but it's better to read the manga. Better story.
The one I would truely recommend is: D. gray man (Awsome series to the max)

I watched the first 14 episodes or so of D. Gray Man and found it pretty underwhelming.

Can anyone tell me what anime this YTMND was made from?
http://suchislife.ytmnd.com/
The animation style looks interesting, I'd really like to see it.

Saiyuki has been pretty good, for what I've seen so far.
oo, maburaho is nice romance/magic/comedy anime.
EDIT: Btw, is Death Note really that good? I seen so many fans pop out of nowhere.

Oh, thanks. I thought that just took me back to the homepage.
Sorry to interrupt the rest of the Anime discussion, but I am planning out a 6 minute animation to be shown next year (it's gonna take me forever...). Basically I am looking for a messy style of animation that still looks good and not completely chaotic to use as a base for the animation style, like the little bit at the end of Neon Genesis Evangelion that animates this image
and cross that with russian style drawing

but maybe something a little stylistically messier. Any animations that you would recommend that I check out?

I haven't finished it, but it has been really excellent thus far, and I was pretty skeptical about it before trying it out.
So was I right that no one else has seen Irresponsible Captain Tylor?

Anyone here watching "Hayate the Combat Butler?" No matter how many times I watch it I'm still laughing my ass off and finding something new in each episode.
