Amazon.co.jp seems to have the nine miles albums, and they ship to the U.S.

it'd be even cooler with kool spice you could get it autographed by each of them, and then snatch it from jun at the last second and hand him a razor.

No. I love Jun too.

Living Field > Kool Spice
Wait, I used to think that and now they are about tied, actually.

The albums are very cheap at Delicious Label. They're like $15 or $20 and shipping is included.

That's EXACTLY what I did at SXSW.

He let out a gasp and yelled "Wait! Wait!" and ran out of the manager's office where he was signing my guitar. He slammed the door going out and ran across the club to get Sawao, who had a videocam- Sawao, Jun, and Kaze were there in 3 seconds, and Kaze took a picture of us holding up Return together...while Sawao caught it on video.

I didn't like either of Nine Miles at first. But the more I listened, the deeper it sucked me in. Now I think it's some of the most exquisite music I've EVER heard.

Any theories as to the lyrics of My Amazing Grace? I definitely hear something about "bringing down the system" and something about not knowing who to trust. Manabe is paranoid.

He's a huge Marley fan, and you can't listen to reggae for 20 years without getting a bit anti-establishment.

He really is sincere- Manabe-san truely believes that reggae espouses a world-healing philosophy.

And you know what? He's got ME convinced...

One Love.

"The Third Eye" is probably my favorite. Nine Miles is very... chill.

Just got back- been gone a week.

Yeah, Third Eye and Freeze Contact have really been favorites of mine lately, to the point that I'm about to bug him for the lyrics (although I've been trying to NOT bug him, period...)

If I manage to get them I'll post them. I did get the lyrics to Word of Mouth:

Word of mouth / Nine Miles

I can hear the word of mouth
Though it is low and good frequency
If it hopes, your heart will can hear
It one hopes so frankly

Come back to this holy place
All is waiting for that you come back
Your distress is shown in your face
You don't need to hold on to me

If it asleep the perfect wave
It can be never go back again
I want it to listen by a feeling
like it never mind

Oh It is a smoldering wave motion
Let me tell you
Way than all
in ready now
Oh In the deep mountain of the mist
Let we go
Once again
Hold me now

Look for so good then keep it gently
Good action is returned to itself
Let's good it if you go where
This place will be a foundation

Tiny rainbow to shine is yourself
Then many people look up at it
I face with the ardent wish
Let's make it
be realized it

Oh It is a smoldering wave motion.
Let me tell you
Way than all
in ready now
Oh In the deep mountain of the mist
Let we go
Once again
Hold me now

Everything go away...
Everything go away...
Everything go away...

Yeah, I know I posted this twice. I just dig it. My bad.

Although I like his music, I have to admit that a lot of the instruments sound like they're from a cheap Casio keyboard or something. Maybe that makes it cooler.
