I've always wanted to read Catcher in the Rye. I should probably do that sometime.

Don't. It sucks. It's only for people with a future in catching children in a field of rye near a cliff, so they don't fall off.
I know that sounds ridiculous, and like I made it up to be stupid, but no, it's actually in the God-damned book.

sheer is just saying that to be cool. catcher is very popular, very funny and very good. i'd say if you haven't read it by the time youre 20, you have to re-apply to your human-ship.

Finished The Unbearable Lightness of Being last week. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

Some biography of Khubilai Khan and an autobiography of Kang Hsi. Fucking dry ass shit. And then The Blind Watchmaker once in a while in free time.

I just read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and i gotta read The Great Gatsby for my lit class. And now I just picked up T.R. The Great Romantic or something like that, book about Teddy Roosevelt and i picked up a book about Andrew Jackson. I like to think of myself as a presidential elitist

Currently reading Catch-22, slowly. I should get some more of that done this weekend. It's quite good so far, and I just bought three more books, though one of them I've already read and just wanted to own because it was so good (The Kite Runner). The other two are The God Delusion and Three Cups of Tea, both of which just sounded interesting to me, so I got them. I don't do enough reading nowadays.

dante aleghari's divine comedy is better. paradise lost's modern perspective of things is kinda......well not the way its suppose to be. come one, are you really gonna sypathize with satan? i doubt it. but as for quality, yea the book is good. i just like dante's better cause it tells it like it is.

Considering that I consider Satan to be an imaginary being...
Yeah, why not?
