I didn't compare them, I said CURRENT GOGO RELEASES AND ALL AKG RELEASES ARE UNDERWHELMING. Read that as many times as you need to. I also didn't put them down for being popular, I'm just questioning the merit of that popularity.
So, to review: Old Go!Go! is good, new Go!Go! is very boo for me (last two albums; meh-city). Current popularity does not match current output.
Edit: I will say, though, that Fat na Kare is pretty cool. The rest is really easy to forget.

I'm on Run Run Run right now, so not completely done, but I love this album already. Not near as much as Tategami or Gyotaku, but I love it. Fat Na Kare is probably the best, but some of the other stuff was REALLY good too.
I didn't even know Go!Go! was popular in Japan. That is awesome. Good for them, they truly deserve it.
Also, is it just me, or did Yuu's voice change quite a bit? So far it seems (at least for the songs I've heard so far) that they focus A LOT on vocals now, and not so much on instruments. I've always loved Yuu's voice, but I think I love this, somewhat, new one just as much. It seems a bit clearer.. err.. hard to say exactly, but in Kinkyori Renai it showed the most I think.

Yeah, this album isn't bad exactly, it's just not nearly as compelling as the other albums. PARADE is probably my favorite besides the single. Fat na Kare was on its way to a win, but the chorus bored me.

Maybe I'm hearing it wrong, but in the surf riff, it sounds like you stay on the last note twice. I thought there was another note inbetween, but maybe I am not recalling correctly.
Good, solid playing, though.

Yeah, and one boy. Who plays the original of that song? I thought all Tora No Ana was covers. If I'm wrong please educate me. I always wanted to hear the original though.

I was watching one of their PV's and the song and her vocals kinda remind me of muse. They're pretty good for a surf rock/alternative kind of band.
