I always thought Sawao kinda looked like Bruce Lee XD

Yeah, it loked Sawao wanted to kick his ass.

When Sawao chased him he was actually trying to push him off the stage. The guy stage dived before Sawao could get to him, and everyone moved out of the way and the guy fell face down. The guy's face was priceless though, when I saw him it looked as if Sawao had scared the shit out of him. Then Sawao yelled out something in Japanese.

I'm sure rage/adrenaline were the reaction, but imagine being grabbed from behind unexpectedly in a foreign country by a bigger guy. He had to at least be severely startled, if not outright frightened momentarily, and that's when the anger comes in.

I mean... it's gotta be like the feeling when someone jumps out to scare you. You're startled and scared for a second, then immediately after you wanna kick their balls/vagina.

I understand what you mean but in a way, I disagree. I think considering what happened, Sawao reacted in a way I would hope he would.

Good for him for chasing the fucker off stage. You guys have to admit, it is kind of funny seeing little Sawao chasing that big dolt off the stage and scaring the shit out of him in the process.

Sawao needs a new nickname because of this. Someone needs to do a photshop thing here.

Now that I'm watching it again, that ending they put together was pretty impressive, given the circumstances.

I don't blame Sawao for being pissed, I understand him completely. I was just saying that nobody should have the audacity to disrupt the Pillows. The Pillows' are all about energy and feel-good music and I would be pissed to see someone try to ruin that. I wish that idiot tried that at the Knitting Factory. They would have dragged and tossed him outside like the garbage that he is. The security there seemed to take their job very seriously.

I guess the security at the Whisky were too occupied making sure people in line were against the wall, two people deep.

i was thinking the exact same thing. manabe was calm enough to actualy end the song and not just stop abruptly. that jsut makes him even more awesome.

but damn, that video really made me cringe. how could anybody do that! sawao must've been scared shitless, and if i were him i would seriously never come back to that particualr venue unless security is mounted up 10 times more than it already was. and then how the hell is security going to let the bastard in agian after the show and after he runs out STILL not take any action!

Security took my water bottle away 'cause they wanted to make me buy the water from the bar/were afraid of me getting secretly drunk/were afraid of me splashing some sort of corrosive substance on others. (Yeah, you know us tricky Asians.)

But they did nothing to the guy who manhandled their headlining band.

I had just bought a monster about 10 minutes before getting to the door, and they wouldn't let me bring it in. Anyone here ever chugged a monster?

that's jsut lame. so unbeleivably lame. ya know what. i hope the security team gets fired i really do. seems they really defend and protect the bands at their venue
