i hope they play something from living field like daydream wonder

what else happened in the la show? what did that guy do after he jumped on stage? did he like the pillows or was he booing them?
Chances for Living Field are pretty slim but it is possible. They played PROPOSE new song needs work or that is just my first reaction.

Dunno the guy liked the pillows someone yelled out "KILL HIM" for ruining the party.
Security also yelled out loud if any cameras are held out they will be taken away...I'm trying to remember I am tired as fuck looking for a college and an apartment to stay and at the same time trying to get through the fucking traffic in LA hoping to get through the concert in time is not easy.
are there any chances of songs from other albums (maybe name some) being played today or in future US tours?
Yeah, they totally need to bust out some Smile and TYMT. It almost seems like they only recognize Little Busters, Runners High, Happy Bivouac, Penalty Life, and My Foot.

They're essentially playing what people know from FLCL and what's on sale in the US. It's a pretty simple concept, so don't get your hopes up for Pantomime or Moon Gold stuff.

^^ exactly. and while i think that there are plenty of awesome songs on those albums, they really need to play more of their discography. i mean, we all saw the setlists for their shows in japan this year. they played stuff like Good Morning Good News, Bubbletown's, Kanojo wa Kyou, Sono Mirai wa Ima etc. they've just practiced this stuff so it's not like they're rusty on these songs.

Just be happy if you get to see them play at all. Before last year, I thought I'd probably never get an opportunity to see my favorite band live.

I might as well go to a Japan's concert if I want some really good sounding stuff since America is filled in the butt and brain with FLCL. Though it's beyond me reach..

well don't get me wrong, i was blown away by the performances of this year's and last year's concert. it's just that the onyl variation this year were the my foot songs. it's just when a band has over 200 songs in the discography, you'd like for them to shake it up a little bit ya know?

They have to weigh the risk of alienating the majority of their fanbase here, though. If they don't play enough FLCL-era stuff (though I'm sure they are sick of ROSS, Hybrid Rainbow, Advice, and Little Busters) most of the people who paid to see them will leave feeling disappointed.

Hybrid rainbow is still played in their live set in japan, though, isn't it? If I ever ge tthe chanceto see them live, I'd like it to still be in there.

Yeah, that's probably their most popular song... so they probably play it every night, so they must be sick of it.

yea that is very true, but i think that by now they've seen that a good chunk of their fans do know of their other work. they shouldn't by any means jsut totally stop playing music from the FLCL-era, some of their best work is in there. but maybe instead of say BDM they could play walkin on the spiral or something. they should just expand their setlists a bit, keeping a nice amount of FLCL songs in there as well, making both causal and true fans happy

i think hybrid rainbow lil busters and shooting star are a given for any us pillows show just because people know them- but they said themselves they like to introduce other songs besides songs from flcl to u.s. shows...
im going to the meet and greet today... i'll be leaving in an hour and i'm going to beg! for an older song- but i think they have their set list down already
