"]
What other show did you go to?
And why didn't you post anything on it?
What I meant was I went to The New York Show, and I'm going to the LA show.
Any interesting story to tell us of the show? Something that stood out for you?
Well, this time around I sat in front I was almost touching the stage. When They began sleepy head with the heavy bassline and stuff I said "HOLY FUCK!!!" and Jun looked at me with this sort of "Yes, the time has come." sort of look. When Sawao stage dove his shou bonked me on the head, I got over it, I can show you the bump if we meet up at the LA show. I met up with the pillows at the end, asked if they could sign my booklet for HB (PML was already signed, thank you very much). So yeah, it was friggin awesome. Just wanted to hear more PML, or even some more B-Sides. But all there was is just FLCL, PL, and My Foot. This poor sap tried getting PL signed (domestic) and Jun began laughing and wouldn't sign it.

I finally got back today at 9:30 AM. We stayed the whole weekend in Hellertown/Bethlehem, PA. My dad had some very sad and frustrating family matters to deal with. My grandfather, whom I have never met, has Parkinson's. My dad and two uncles had to go to court on monday to fight my grandfather's wife from locking out everyone (including her daughters) from information regarding his well being, location, and access to money. In a nutshell, she was trying to sell off his possessions and make it so that she was the only person in control of his money when he passes. A real power bitch move. Of my understanding of the verdict, she was embarrassed horribly as the facts of her negligence in regards to taking care of grandpa were coming out left and right. She didn't even know the name of the surgeon who made the incision to remove the brain tumor! I didn't go to the hearing, but from what dad told me, we (dad, two uncles, her daughters, and one other guy) exposed her bigtime.
After the court hearing on monday, we went to Dorney Park. "Talon" and "Steel Force" were pretty damn awesome, I must say. It rained hardcore most of the day, which wouldn't have been too bad if dad didn't decide to leave the umbrellas/spare clothes in the car.
Anyways, about the concert. We both failed pretty hard at taking pictures (I got a couple good shots on the floor, but the camera was accidently set on different modes, resulting in mildly mushy pics, dad didn't zoom in on ANY of his shots from the balcony. ) BUT!!! We came back a bit later after eating and got pictures of me with Sawao, Manabe and Jun. (couldn't find Shin after the concert, but he crossed the street right in front of us heading into the venue about an hour and a half before the show. ) I'll post the pictures later today.
I bought one of each shirt, and a sticker set. Dad also bought a Hybrid Rainbow shirt! He loved the show, and commented that they were a great band. Speaking of men over 50 liking the pillows, I played some pillows music for a neighbor who stopped by. He was suprised and impressed. (natch) I hit him with: (in order) kanojo wa kyou, little busters, hybrid rainbow, blues drive monster, my foot, the third eye. He really liked the third eye and little busters.
If anyone cares, I was the tall kid jumping near the middle in the disney busters shirt. The kid with the hair. Also, I think Jun said something about our Japanese not being very good, it was quite funny that we could barely understand him trying to speak English.
Like I said, I'll have some pictures later, even if they are all wideshots and botches. At least I got some awesome ones with 3/4 members. I also saw Manabe chatting with girls. His breath stunk...

He's be gotta lying...
it's more likely that Jun would laugh at PML since he did not participate in it.

$15 and $20, respectively.
The RR Sinners shirt is also $15, for any interested parties.

They should('ve) played this setlist. If they did, I would have flown to New York for this show.
Colorful Pumpkin Fields
Razorlike Blue
Never Find
Pari no Josei Marie
Swinger's Night Club
Kouen~ Koukan no Warutsu
The Killing Field
Happy Slave
Ame ni Utaeba
Sariban ni Naritai
Cherry
Tonight
Energy
(Encore I) Bokura no Harei Suisei
Encore II) Beautiful Picture
It could have been the best show ever. If only they didn't act like the old stuff didn't exist.

Goooooood luck with that.
I think the problem is that the old stuff doesn't mesh well with the new stuff, which is more popular, by far (and often all that is acknowledged by the fans themselves). That, and they use enough effects already. It's too complicated for a band like them to keep switching for songs with drastically different sounds (I mean, come on, they have to tune their instruments on stage...they can't have too many resources).
Edit: Plus, they'd have to relearn how to play all these songs live. Too troublesome for what it's worth.
