 Frank Black Decent solo work. He always seemed like a blues-influenced guy ever since "Cactus" from [i]Surfer Rosa[/i]. I bought [i]Honeycomb[/i] and [i]Teenager of the Year[/i]. It's a nice change to see his songwriting has matured since Trompe le Monde.

The fact of the mater is Charles Thompson is a good guy.
He is completely devoted to his wife and two kids.
He is one of the few artists that takes the time to actually talk
to his fans. On Frank Black.net, there is a special thread where fans
can post questions and Frank gets online and responds...even getting
into some conversations with the forum members. How cool is that?
Maybe you were referring to how he was in the 80's, but Frank Black
and Black Francis are not the same person.
