This show has been resceduled for June 22nd and moved into the main ballroom instead of doing two smaller ones in the what ever their smaller room is called.

"Show of NY changed on June 22. It is executed with main space of The knitting factory." Chie.

I don't know why it was changed but apparently they are trying to get gigs set up on the west coast LA SF for June 26th and 27th.

I'd much rather have two shows on a smaller stage than one show on a larger stage. Especially since I already got the tickets. Looks like I'll have to get a refund for one of them.

Awesome. I had two tickets for each day, but now they're in a larger area (meaning I likely won't be as close) for only one day. So I have two tickets I don't even need, and I have to find friends who are interested in buying them.

Aces, half the amount of pillows I was expecting is always an awesome deal.

ack, this is not good > o the other shows fell perfectly into my plans too go too NY at the end of June. It's awesome they're looking at chicago for venues too but because of scheduling probs I wont be able too make one of those shows

I always thought that the whole show-might-be-changed-at-any-time-without-warning thing was just a general courtesy all ticket vendors said just so they couldn't get sued, or to ease complaints. I didn't know it ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Go figure.

no, it says they will honor tickets for the 26th and 27th.

I don't know what exactly the reason was for the schedule change but I'm sure they have their reasons.

Understand that it's not easy to get a Japanese band booked in the US. Also know that they are trying to book all ages shows which makes it even more difficult. Just be glad you are able to go if you can. Even though the show has been moved to the main ballroom, it's the Knitting Factory, not Madison Square Garden so getting a good veiw shouldn't be too difficult.

Perhaps they were baseing it on the turnout and crowd reaction from last year's KF show. Hence the main ballroom. And perhaps the staff at KF were really impressed with both the reactions, turnout and the pillows themselves that they were convinced to let them change dates and room. I remember someone here who was at one of the shows say that they over heard one of the staff memebers of one of the venues they played last year that they thought they were really good. It might have been KF.

So...1x Main > 2x Bar?
