Post Hyde
Tofu Records will be releasing Hyde's latest album "Faith" on June 27; complete with a DVD with the videos for "COUNTDOWN" and "SEASON'S CALL".

Also, Hyde will be performing at Slim's in San Francisco on July 5.

Discuss joyously or with utter hatred.

It can't be any worse than the crapshoot that was the last two L'Arc albums.

Yeah. Smile was so-so, but Awake was rather disappointing.

Anybody knows about S.O.A.P?

I've never heard any of the L'Arc solo work. I think I read somewhere a while back that Ophelia was a song that was originally supposed to go on Hyde's first solo album. If that's true, then I'd really be interested in more of Hyde's solo stuff.

Let's see..

1. Hyde's solo work - 3 albums, Roentgen, 666 and Faith (new). Roentgen is slow ballads, jazzy kind of thing. 666 was just heavy rock. Faith.... i dunno

2. Ken's solo work- Forms Sons of All Pussys (S.O.A.P) with Sakura and Ein (dunno their full names). 3 albums; High!, gimme a guitar and Grace. Great guitar and drum works, but Ken's singing voice and technique is not so good.

As for Tetsu, i know he made a solo career as Tetsu69 and Yukihiro as Acid Android. That's all i know.

If you like Ophelia, you may want to try Roentgen. Same kind of stuff.

I tried Roentgen, and I have to say that... I like it. :X

I don't think it would translate into good live music though.

There was a live concert done by Hyde with the aide of a pianist and some strings. I must say the live versions of Roentgen are quite good, although Hyde was rather short of breath.

I have an mp3 of Drop of Colour in this concert. If you want it, i can post it here.

Here's Drop of Colour unplugged. Rip from the mini concert vid. But i lost the vid though.

Maybe I'll post some sample songs from Hyde's other albums and S.O.A.P later.

Cool, thanks. I think you can find the video of that performance on YouTube.
