Fucking Fender. Yeah, assholes, go reissue the shit right after I get mine. Now every stupid ass who wants to be like me and get a Sonic Blue Mustang can. You all better buy Vintage White or I'll kill you.

Sonic Blue Mustang = disgusting/reminiscent of the god awful Jag-Stang
I was hoping they would reissue the original colors, I would love Lake Placid Blue. But these are Mexican imitations of Japanese imitations of original American guitars. I don't see why they would reissue Jaguars and Jazzmasters as American models and then give the Mustang the shaft yet again. Even though it would jack the price up over $1000, this classic guitar deserves it.

Are you sure it is mexican? The owner of the music store here ordered one while ago and said the price would be well over $700. Highway 1 guitars are american made and they're around the same price.

Actually, sonic blue with a white pearl pickguard would be decent, it's the damn red tortoise shell that makes it gross.
But yea, they're mexican alright. Notice how it DOESN'T say it's american-made anywhere? They did this with those Blink 182 artist series guitars too, you'd think since it was an artist signature guitar they wouldve made it american... but that was mexican, too. Mexican models used to be cheaper years ago, but recently Fender decided they were going to charge more for them and thus make people think the craftsmanship was somehow better because of it--somewhat coincidental with how they tried to make the Squier line look like it was better than it actually is. They jacked up prices across their whole product line though, which also sucks.

1. USA
2. Japan
3. Mexico
How guitar manufactures managed to hold themselves within three
countries is beyond me.
No wait, I remember seeing a Wal-Mart guitar from China.

I actually have one. It had a Fender-strat body and neck. It was decent too.
