dang guys, it's not that hard to figure out. they have 13 full length albums:
Moon Gold
White Incarnation
Kool Spice (it is, even if it has 7 tracks)
Living Field
Please Mr. Lostman
Little Busters
Runners High
Happy Bivouac
Smile
TYMT
Penalty Life
Good Dreams
My Foot
sorry i had to spell it out like that, but geez, it's not that hard of a concept to grasp of what a full album is. pantomime and 90's my life weren't full length cause they were 5 tracks only. same with turn back except it was 6. i guess FOTP could count too as a full album, but not AMAP because that's a collection of b-sides, not an actual album.

I didn't consider kool spice a full length album.

Where's the cutoff for a "full-length" album... just out of curiousity.

I'd think of it as "6 or more original songs. No compilations or mini-albums. And hell yeah, Kool Spice is a full-length album. Now about Turn Back...well, they're re-done songs, so they're new...does it come down to quantity then? ?

I'm not sideing with the guy, but not against him either. Comments about the other albums aside, I think it's a dead on review.
With Good Dreams, the group proved that they knew exactly what their anime-worshipping American audience wanted (The Pillows were featured prominently in the Japanese-produced, American-syndicated animation show "FLCL" which gained them much popularity in the USA) and sought to cash in.
It wasn't any surprise to me that the Keikaku review was mostly negative, but this is just ridiculous. So was comparing Good Dreams to Little Busters.

The difference is that every song on Little Busters is utterly fantastic, and despite every song sounding like it's from the same album, they never repeat themselves. Good Dreams is the opposite, dull and repetitive, and bears no resemblance to the superior musicianship that went into Little Busters.
I think everything they did up until 1998 was very, very good. Runners High took some time to grow on me (since I never really liked the songs from this album that were in FLCL), but now I love it as a whole. Happy Bivouac doesn't feel very cohesive past Crazy Sunshine, but the overall quality of the album easily surpasses the three songs I don't really like (our love and peace, advice, beautiful morning with you). The same thing was the case with TYMT- there were several dull songs, but the good ones more than made up for it.

I counted Pantomine and 90's My Life as albums which I guess they aren't. On Wikipedia it says Good Dreams = 16th album...ah w/e I was off anyway, but so was that dude...

Pantomime and 90's My Life are considered mini-albums. In the grand scheme of things, you can count them in the overall releases.

Advice was the perfect end to that album.

I agree, but I think comparing the two really shows just how flawed the latter is. As you just said.
