Did anyone who actually bought it realize there is a small picture of the movie "A lot Like Love" on the inside cover? Why the hell is it there?!?!
Heh, I didn't notice that. I guess Sawao is a big Ashton Kutcher fan.
Either that or the pillows just got punk'd.

I just got my DVD today and I was like WTF is that doing there?! Couldn't they pick a good American movie or even a good American actor instead of some goof?

I got my copy in yesterday.
The DVD was very well-done. Instead of going the usual route of "just another concert" DVD, the pillows & noodles decided on a video journal. At first I didn't understand why they moved the Knitting Factory concert to the last part; until they showed the crowd reaction. Everyone knowing the lyrics to "Hybrid Rainbow" and "Advice"; this was their biggest show during the tour (and I was happy to be there for it). Couldn't spot myself though ; oh well.
I can understand every one's reaction to the Anime Central show. I think I blame it on the barrier that was built between the fans and the stage. At the club shows you could literally touch them. At that particular show Sawao had to stretch his guitar out for a little fan reaction. If it was just a regular show (no seats; just standing and pushing around having fun) it would've been better.
The part where Jun plays with Daddy was funny. It would've been funnier if Sawao did something to Jun while he was asleep (write "BALLS" on his forehead ),
The DVD didn't need subtitles. You could tell what they were talking about; even if you didn't understand what they were saying. Although I would like to know what they were saying during the interviews.
After watching this DVD, I knew deep down that the pillows & noodles would be returning. In fact the way they were acting during the tour was a guarantee that they'd be back next year with a bigger, more expanded tour.

Acen has so many rules that it did sort of kill the mood. Well not for me because I was ignoring everyone around me because I was in a dream like state, but they had the barrier, forced us to leave all cameras and bags in our cars or rooms and you couldn't get too close. For the signing session, you couldn't take a picture behind the table with them so that's why in my picture I am on the other side of the table and we are all leaning towards the middle. For me, all those things didn't matter because I was really just glad to have such an awesome oppurtunity. I feel blessed in a way.

I walked into pianos during the middle of the afternoon to a mostly empty bar and stood beside noodles and their management and watched the pillows do a few songs for soundcheck. That was pretty amazing.
The best part was, though - that Manabe was on the opposite side of the stage that he normally plays on and I took note of this. So when we all rushed in, I walked to the side most people thought Jun was going to be on and watched like 50 girls cram up against the edge of the stage where manabe normally would play.

I'm pretty sure that the interview with those three girls talking to the pillows is the Shoujo Beat interview.

I got this DVD a couple days ago, and it's pretty cool. I like the behind the scenes stuff and the concerts were pretty cool. I do have to say, though that the Knitting Factory was probably the best concert. There was so much energy in that room. It was awesome. I did hate seeing all the otakus at ACen, but whatever. Hehe, I also found it kind of funny how they left in the part when the guy from the Stereo Future said "It's fucking cold". And Jun playing with Daddy He was just like, "wtf is this lady doing". I wonder what he said afterwards...
