Anyway. speaking of "unoriginality", it seems Sawao bashing has become that latest trend. It's funny how all the "cool kids" were so quick to jump on that bandwagon.

It's his voice that freaks me now. That's all. I think he can still pull this together. But I'm not expecting anything super fantastic.

See now if that's your opinion, that's your opinion. If someone doesn't like the latest record, then that's there opinion too. Cool, fine, whatever.

It's the out and out bashing that I'm talking about. "He's a rip off. He sucks. He's a horse shit songwriter. blah, blah, blah" If he sucks so much, since he is the princable song writer for the pillows and that ain't going to change, then why not just move on, get over it and stop bashing every single thing the guy does? I would assume people would have better things to do then torture themselves with some "horse sh*t" music that is past it's prime.

Constantly bashing Sawao on a pillows message board does not make anyone sound cool. It makes them sound pathetic like they need to get a life and find something better to do.

Seriously, I "love" Sawao BECAUSE of the music. He literally has written 9 out of 10 of my favorite songs (a feat no other artist has ever come close to with me) and I happen to really like the newer stuff he has written too. If I didn't, trust me I WOULD NOT BE HERE...

i know. i was trying to lighten up the conversation a little. in retrospect, it was the wrong way to attempt that.

but i know how you feel. even though i don't like the predators as much as the pillows, and even though the pillows' latest cd wasn't as good as some of their other stuff, i still like them. and i'd be damned if i would whine and bitch about sawao over such trivial things.
