I've really got to get back to reading my unfinished books. I've started on The Alchemist, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and Memoirs of a Geisha, but have yet to finish any of them. :\

I came close to buying the paperback version of Battle Royale a while ago, but I decided to hold off until I've finished everything.

*Edited for correct book title.

I like the Bean series.. I love the Battle School kids bantering and stuff, specially this one (It's my AIM away message:
Dumper: Who was joking?
"I've seen Australia and I've lived on an asteroid and I'd take the asteroid."
Carn Carby: Asteroid
"Australia doesn't need life support like an asteroid or coca like the Andes to be livable. Besides, you only liked the asteroid because it was named Eros and that's as close to sex as you've ever gotten."
. the end with Peter and Petra getting together and Ender's talk with Peter for The Hegemon was awesome. yea. I've got the the whole Ender/Bean series. <3 OSC. I lub his endings - to the point and a bit deep. Have you guys read the Alvin Maker series from him? just as good as the Ender one. ah..I blame my blunt personality on that guy. =D

I'm also reading the Dark Tower series.. im on the last book, Wizard and Glass, and I only read a page or so a month.. SLOW. but the story remains interesting.

mm. im reading those while also reading The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. It's random, then blunt. I LOVE IT~ One of the best books with un-crude humour I've seen around. I've also got some school books to read.. but bah.I don't remember what they were called..

You won't regret it. The novel has so much depth to everything ...powerful. Was one of few books to get me all worked up inside (I really hated the main evil guy in this one). Still my favorite.

I'm rereading Slaughter House 5, just 'cause there arn't many other books I'm interested in lately.

the da vinci code blows.

did anyone else hate that that book always had chapters that ended with cliffhangers? ALWAYS?! man, that book was hack-tastic.

i'm reading the Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami. it's taking me more than two months to read it... and I finished DeLillo's underworld in two weeks!

that's the fourth book. ;;^^

good stuff... i remember that one being somewhat heavy, and also taking me a while to finish- i just needed breaks from it from time to time. hard boiled wonderland and the end of the world was much the same.

yeah, battle royale = also good stuff. it's got much more depth than the movie. and it explains some interesting little things in the movie.

edit: discovolante, that last comment was inappropriate. *delete*
