it's a thai martial arts movie. and the most fun i've had in a while.

tony jaa (as ting, the protagonist) is aaaawwesome. his chase scenes have drawn comparisons with jackie chan and his muay thai is just rock solid. the movie is touted as having no wires, no cg, etc.

i believe you can obtain it from yes asia. i don't know where else. i suppose it might get a limited release in the states.

I've been really curious to see this movie after seeing the preview awhile back, and moreso after reading an article about Tony Jaa. I'm glad to know of another martial arts star who works without wires, I definitely want to see it.

I've heard good things. This movie, Hero, and House of Flying Daggers are the top three movies I want to see right now that I haven't gotten around to...

didn't get to see ong bak ;_; (i hope it releases on vhs/dvd soon)

does tony jaa do any specific type of martial arts? this picture made me think that the movie could be specific to traditional muay thai boxing which i've wanted to see on screen for the longest time :X way awesome.
