On Friday they played a new song called "どこにもない世界" (Doko ni mo nai sekai). Including this, I guess we know 3 songs that will be on the album (the others being BE WILD and Ousama ni nare).

We've heard 2/3 in at least part, and both sound sick thus far. High hopes, amigos.

I'm cautiously optimistic on the album art. It has potential to be cool like the art for the digital Ousama single, but it will probably be a stock image of a cricket or something.

Ha ha, a cricket actually sounds right up their alley (though maybe it makes a negative suggestion; crickets chirping, ya know?). As for my hopes for the album art, a bit more of an expansive image this time around would be cool. So many past Pillows album covers look as if they've been framed at the same distance from the subject of the image every time (I believe they're usually at the mid-to-long shot range?). Furthermore, it's always as if there's only ever a very specific subject in all of their album covers, rather than a few more things to look at. At this point in their career, you woulda thought they'd have given up a really awe-inspiring image to match up with their often awe-inspiring sound, but what we usually get is something simple and restricted in scope.

Further on cover art, I will say that the [i]Moondust[/i] cover was epic, despite being based on a stock photo. The purple colour scheme really fits the mood of the album, as does the modest and vaguely majestic way in which the lions are shot.

Also, I just realized that the new song they played a few days ago, "Doko ni mo nai Sekai", isn't on the album. Interesting.

I will also be pre-ordering from Tower (hopefully before the vinyl cases sell out), along with the last three CD+DVD packages since Tower still has 'em all in stock (I'm not taking any chances with backorders).

But in all seriousness, there is a possibility that it will turn up as a B-side on a yet-to-be released single, in the same way that "Belladonna" and "Eternal Treasure" accompanied the "Cuckoo" CD single.

google translate says song 2 is "Be a king", song 4 is "Perfect idea", and song 8 is "Jelanie". So you know what, there is only two of them, Hang a vulture! and Coooming Sooon are totally fine to be the funny titles lol.
