 Re: [2014.10.22] Moondust (New album!) Wow, yeah...some of those covers...haha, that's crazy. But some of them really work well and I dig them...My Foot and Non-Fiction for example....others, wtf (looking at you Discharge).
Either way, i feel like this one (MoonDust) is on a whole other level. It combines the "WTF what does this have to to do with anything" feel of Discharge with an amateur, stock-photo photoshop job...and on top of it all, it just doesn't "feel" like a pillows cover...

(Click the blue "view in iTunes" button to lunch iTunes and be able to listen to the samples.) The album is also available for preorder and the title track is available for download NOW! (Of course, this is Japanese iTunes only.) These are nice 1 minute 30 second samples, too. Not those dinky 30 second clips we usually get from the official site. (Expect for "Song for you" at least.)

Re: [2014.10.22] Moondust (New album!) Clean Slate Revolution sounds like it may be catchy, and Break a Time Machine doesn't sound as godawful as I feared it would. Prairie Rider seems alright, too.
I dunno. I guess I'm not really excited to get my hands on this anymore. There doesn't appear to be anything truly exciting on it. I'll probably still download it and listen to it, but I doubt very much that it's going to leave a huge impression.

Outside of Happy Birthday though, the rest isn't really what I was hoping for. The solo in About a Rock 'n Roll Band is better than I remember though.

And me too. Even though I think OOPARTS has been their weakest album in recent years (probably ever), there isn't one song on that album that I don't like.
