What games should I get?
Anything really, but especially RPGs. Preferably not turn based but its fine if they are...
So in short, ANYTHING

Re: Just Found My DS
Final Fanasy Tactics Advance 2: Grimoire of the Rift is the best game I've played on the DS so far.
Get that or some Pokemon stuff.

Fire Emblem, Scribblenauts, Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure. Henry Hatsworth is somewhat like Panel De Pon mashed up with a platformer. It's fun.

Re: Just Found My DS
I've been meaning to dig up my DS and play the Mario & Luigi games. It's a fun series.
Advance Wars. Great fun war/strategy.
Yeah, for the first few hours. I don't remember when it was that I crossed the line dividing "Man, this is a really fun strategy game" and "OH GOD, THIS IS HARD AS SHIT", but once I did, I promptly sold it. YMMV, of course.

Re: Just Found My DS
Advance Wars: Dual Strike does not fuck around. I actually haven't played DOR, but I think it's supposed to be a bit easier? I can't recall. I do recall the Dual CO feature of Dual Strike making things harder consiering how effectively the A.I. would use it. Often I would find myself just behind on meter count with my units, but the enemy would have it ready to go nuts on my guys, which of course, delays me using it because my shit is now wrecked and I need a few turns to get some fresh units in position. There are still a few skirmishes I have NO FUCKING CLUE how I'm supposed to win. Considering every skirmish gives you fewer cities to occupy, and thus less money per turn, the enemy ALWAYS has a leg up from the start. But I find the challenge entirely doable and engaging. War of attrition is not for everyone, for sure.

Mm, I feel ya. I *want* to love strategy/tactics games, because of their obvious depth and balance...but it just ends up feeling like *work*. I'm more suited to strategy games like Starcraft that have action elements that allow you to simply win over (some, moderately skilled) opponents with sheer fundamentals and good mechanics (In Starcraft 2, one only really needs to start thinking hard about strategy at the high Platinum, Diamond, and Masters levels).
