On the "THIS WORLD TOUR" DVD, Yamanaka tells a story about an obnoxious lady on the plane when they were going to Monster Bash. She created a ruckus and Takahashi slept through the ordeal. After the MC, they introduced Crazy Babar. I think it's easier to appreciate the song if you know that it is based on this experience.

Now the real mystery is why they would choose to release a song about an obnoxious woman on a plane as their lead single for their new album-- especially coupled with a cheap-looking animated PV. Then again, I don't imagine they're sitting on anything more profound...

I still thought the song was a little catchy, but it's a ridiculous choice for a single.

I wouldn't call it "the lead single". It's one of the three PVs for the album, but I doubt it will even be shown on TV. They showed it yesterday as a bonus during a special Predators live stream. I doubt it will be seen again until the DVD that comes with that album.

God Game is the one they are promoting a bunch. It aired on TV about a week ago and has been playing in pretty heavy rotation since. If there's a lead track from the album, it's that one.

These though... Why can't we just go back to HUNTING and pretend none of these other things were ever released. HUNTING is in my top 10 albums.

In God Game I feel like Sawao's vocals shouldn't be used for that song.
Also the drumming bothers me in these releases that I've seen so far.

And after some thinking I'm really stuck on what I should think of them.

On one side this band for Sawao is an homage to Nirvana.
On the other side is it really okay to start a band just to pay homage to a band that's gone?
What about cover bands? Is predators just a complicated way to be a cover band for Sawao?
Was Sawao's intentions when starting this band purposely to create Nirvana influenced music??

What if it's really BAD Nirvana influenced music? Does "it's their way" replace badly planned/ unimpressive music?

Either way it all seems really, really weird to me.
I was under the impression one made music with the goal to make original music for everyone's hearts.
Maybe some people would start a band just for one person. I really don't know.

Then again I don't have a musician side to me so I was wondering if I could get this forum's opinions on this.
