Re: Song Of The Day Damn it, I love Tiny Boat  They don't make them like this anymore. Such a sweet song; both musically and lyrically. I wonder what Sawao's opinion of the song is; if he recognizes just what a wonderful job he did in writing it. I wish he'd try to write a song in a similar vein today. Heck, sometimes I wonder if he's still capable. When I listen to a song like Tiny Boat and follow it up with something more recent, I don't really know. That isn't to say that their more recent stuff is bad, either. It's just so different. It seems to lack the earnestness that makes Tiny Boat so special. Listening to the pillows in this way makes me wonder about the nature of creativity; whether it simply ebbs and flows over time, or whether it reaches a certifiable peak and begins to invariably diminish from there. D: I'd love to hear what a recent performance sounds like. I wonder if it would live up to expectations, though, considering that the studio version is pure bliss. There's the changes in Sawao's voice against what I consider one of his most emotion-carrying vocal performances, as well as the fact that, musically, the song's carried by Kashima's bass* ;_;
*Not to hate on Jun. He did do a pretty nice job with Ice Pick on Lostman Go to Yesterday, etc
