 Re: Number Girl
Actually, I'll say Boku. Since, you know, it transcends the ideas of genres, bands, and even theories of the universe. Boku probably spurred the creation of the universe.

I don't really like any of the spin-off bands, just Zazen

 Re: Number Girl
Stupid question coming up here. I'll preface it with the fat that I've loved Number Girl for the past year, have all their albums and am now trying to complete the discography. One burning question I've had for a while is where does Teppu Surudokunatte come from? Was it a special single? What era is it from? Maybe if I can be directed to a good English language source on the band and their discography, that would be helpful too. Thanks.
Also, favorite rack is either Urban Guitar Sayonara or Trampoline Girl. Fav album would then be Sappukei. Have been really liking Num-Heaveymetallic recently though. Turned my friend onto the band with that album.

"I ONLY LIKE THE OBSCURE TRACKS THAT NO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT." I'm just joshin' ya. But Tuesday Girl is a super legit song. The performance of it in Sawayakana Ensou is amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDGuZIPqOEE

 Re: Number Girl
For me, SGDA Sappukei, and NHM are some of my favorite albums ever. The love goes back and forth between the three, but they all rock so hard! I know I just listed a favorite song, but really, it's like picking my favorite pillows song; not really possible. On their main albums, there are only a few songs I haven't been able to get into. But in general just about every song has something great to offer, especially after you get pass SGBB. But yeah, NHM and Sappukei are the two albums I'm feeling the most right now. Oh man that's some crazy songwriting and production! Awesome stuff. Lots of emotions flying around in those riffs, screaming, guitar tones, and that crazy rhythmic Inazawa machine. I love it. [/fanboy rant]

 Re: Number Girl
SGBB has some AMAZING songs, it just suffers from a very, very different production style that seems to be less appealing to most people.

 Re: Number Girl
Yea SGBB is really a fantastic album as well, but it has a pretty low production value. Listen to Mini Grammar(styled 'er'?) at Sawayakana Ensou and tell me it isn't one of the most kickass songs you've ever heard. The opening riff is to die for.
