Re: Gear Talk 2.0
Yea, I know, old thread. Didn't even know this was here.
Probably old news at this point but Manabe replaced his Big Muff with an MXR Distortion 3.
Sawao's Pedal's and back of his Cyclone, I posted this elsewhere in the past.

TRIP DANCER: ESP Telecaster Vintage Plus. http://www.theguitarweb.com/esptele.htm
Kanojo wa kyou,: ESP Ultratone, but with modifications compared to the stock kind (Swanky Street). The pickups are single-coils instead of mini-humbckers. The pickup selector was removed. One of the knobs have also been removed. The layout looks similar to that of a Telecaster's.

The Acoustic Manabe played in the Blue Poppies concert is an old 60's era Eko Rio Bravo 6 with Nine Miles polar bear artwork.

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
I'm surprised Sawao doesn't plug his pedals into an AC adapter. I hope the batteries don't die during live performances. I guess the roadies take care of that or something.
I hadn't noticed the 'the pillows' sticker on that tuner, either.
I hadn't noticed the 'the pillows' sticker on that tuner, either.
It says 'Chromatic The Pillows' Theres one on the Blues Driver as well, pretty sure they're the same as the ones in the sticker set.

Here's Manabe's most up-to-date Pedal Board from the OOPARTs tour.

Re: Gear Talk 2.0
The fuck is Manabe doing? An MXR Fullbore Metal and a digital distortion modeler?

And the mystery box looks like an old ram's head era Big Muff Pi, only black with different knobs. There is even what looks to be a logo where the ram's head ought to be. If I had to guess, it is some sort of DIY or knockoff Big Muff Pi.

Yea, I just meant that it's weird he's using that in conjunction with the Fullbore Metal. Also it looks like he and Sawao are both using MXR Micro Amp pedals too.
This is what he was using during Blue Poppies. Notice that the mystery box starts showing up around here, only red this time.

And this one is from a set before that.
