The Pillows Magazine Book
Hey guys,
I recently bought a magazine cutout collection of a ton of Pillows' interviews/pictures/etc. and I wanted to scan and upload them.
Since I would hate to scan the whole book and have something be wrong, I wanted to ask you guys- What would be the optimal dpi/size/format for the scans? I only ask because each image is coming out to around 17 mb, so all of them together would be pretty big.
Right now I'm scanning them in .png format, but I'm clueless as to the difference between image formats, so I thought I'd ask if I should do .pdfs [Mare's suggestion] or .jpg instead.

Since .png is lossless compression, I'd definitely go with that over .jpg. However, since it is a somewhere between a magazine and a book, I think .pdf is appropriate. Mostly preference. Personally, I hate using Adobe Reader, but I'm sure some people prefer it or wouldn't mind using it.

Put them all as the highest quality, format as .png, compress to a .rar file

Re: The Pillows Magazine Book
It also came with a separate 150 page 20th Anniversary Interview booklet. I'll have to scan this once I get the first part done. Edit: So I figure I'll just upload the interviews individually, that way Mare can translate them as we go [assuming he has time]. Here's the first page- FOTP Interview

Don't worry about it too much. But bigger is better.
