Actually, it says alot about the shipping quality from UPS or whatever service

Musician's Friend might use.

your bitch ass works for ups.

Don't they just put it in a damn box and put it in a truck? how would there be cosmetic flaws from the shipping service?

How do bumps and shakes scratch a guitar that is in a case or have a gig bag (but the gibsons all come with hardshell cases)?

I think it's from shit ass workers. Martin, gibson and shit is all going downhill. You're buying the name. I'm sure most are good, but i've heard way too many bad things about gibson these days to buy a new one.

I really like Gibson guitars. My '77 Les Paul Recording guitar has never done me wrong, and is the most versatile electrics ever made. Also their jumbo acoustics are great blues guitars. I agree with you though, I probably wouldn't buy a new Gibson electric.

Also, I don't Martin guitars have gone down hill at all. They still aren’t rock guitars though. Martins are made for finger picking and country style flat picking. People can get away with play rock on a Martin, but you really have to know how to handle an acoustic.

my brother has a martin acoustic. but i think a lot of this is personal taste, of which we differ.
