Blur
Lately, after Plastic Beach has been leaked onto the internet, I've been looking deeper into the volume of great music Damon Albarn, the frontman of the Gorillaz, has produced. For the past few days, I've been listening to a lot of Blur, and I'm amazed. The brit-rock songs are very catchy, and the dynamic, mellow tunes from Think Tank really hit me hard. Between Blur, Gorillaz, and The Good, The Bad and The Queen, I think I've found a new musical idol to sit aside the pillows.

Re: Blur
Glad to hear it. Damon Albarn is my absolute idol. I've been listening to his music for nearly a decade now. Which is your favorite album? I've always fancied Parklife, but sometimes I lean towards the self-titled. Still, I prefer the Britpop records to the experimental/alt-rock ones.

Re: Blur
i've been waaaaay into late 80s/90s shoegaze/britpop for the past year or so. I actually have yet to really dig into Blur's discography but i've been listening to The Stone Roses, Adorable, Travis, Ride, Slowdive, Pale Saints, The Sundays and a ton of other great bands from that period.

Re: Blur
My personal favorite album is Blur, or Think Tank. Kinda undecided between those. I love Parklife too. Also, I've gotten into a shoegaze band named Lush. They're pretty great.

Re: Blur
I'm surprised you rate Think Tank so high. It's the least favorite album among Blur fans, alongside Leisure.
My preference goes likes this: Parklife > Blur > The Great Escape > Modern Life Is Rubbish > Think Tank > 13 > Leisure
