Post Microtonal Music
Does anyone enjoy microtonal music? Anyone even heard microtonal music?
Microtonal music is music using microtones — intervals of less than an equally spaced semitone. Microtonal music can also refer to music which uses intervals not found in the Western system of 12 equal intervals to the octave.
I'm trying to see if I can get into quarter-tone music. Not surprisingly, it's pretty hard to find the stuff.

Post Re: Microtonal Music
I listened to the first two minutes, now I have a headache. I never get headaches.
It doesn't fit with my brain.

There's a reason we have the standard tradition of western music theory, friend.

Very true. However, I'm not convinced that our tradition is superior to the quarter-tone system for example.

Our system is not necessarily different from the quarter-tone system, as they are both based off the same interval ratios.

A system which divides octaves into six or five notes, rather than seven, would be intrinsically different, however.
