Love the picture Grey, more of this! I'm sure you all know, but with the way Facebook works, you'll have to upload pictures to your personal profile first and then basically share them with the fan page for pics to appear in the 'fan photos' section. The link is coming soon!

Also, I don't foresee IM posters migrating 100% because forums have use their world and Facebook has its world, but I encourage everyone to drive Facebook discussions and comments since you're all in the upper tier of the fandom! I don't expect the level of fandom on Facebook to reach the level it is here, this place will always be a unique environment, you know? At the same time, my goal is to build a pretty all-encompassing page, so we'll see what we get from those who want to interact on the FB!

The biggest advantage of a Facebook page is official updates, news, etc in English, as far as I see it, but the collection of pictures and stuff will also be really cool. The only downer about the media aspect is that there will probably be no way to organize it that I can see. I mean, unless we submit them to you and you organize them, which would be cool.

On topic, I'm strongly tempted to open an FB account, but I don't want the douchebags I know IRL to find me. This is a tough choice.

One would think that a thread entitled "The Pillows on Facebook" would have some form of hyperlink to a Facebook page - particularly one featuring the pillows. You know, just saying.

Apparently, Avex wants ladybirdgirl and his crew to build a whole new facebook page for the pillows (which is a bad idea, since fans on the older page number in the hundreds... don't wanna split the concentration)... I think they're trying to work it out so that they preserve the page. Then they can add the "new content" onto that page.

That seems like the most logical course of action, but whatever.

I don't get it. There are 3 facebooks group related to Sawao of the pillows:
Sawao for president
Sawao for God
Sawao for Jezus

The Sawao for Jezus group has only 37 members and nothing else that is worth mentioning.
The other two aren't really great fangroups neither.
But when I continue my search I find besides, "sawao's Profile - Hentai Foundry"
another grouppage called: A Group For People Who Appreciate "The Pillows"
and has 893 members. . . still not many people who appreciate the pillows imo.
And there isn't much special to see on this one too. Only a few pics and in the discussion,
well it starts with "your favourite song, your favourite album" Yeah, like we never talked about that on IM.
So the new Facebookpage. . . It's still counts, it's a good idea.

Note: the other existing pages/groups you see on Facebook devoted to the band are not official pages after all. I was getting confused with my Avex communications because I thought one of those pages WAS an official one made by Avex (the one linked from the myspace page). This is not the case. This means I really have no way of knowing who made all those other groups and pages, but it doesn't really matter. The link above is the first official page hahaha, whatever, its all the same to me, minus the official updates
