If you say its criticism, its quite poor since your not actually giving a reason as to why its dead. My little insult is just a joke, I like the album you don't who cares.
Why do people get they're knickers in a bunch when you call them a bitch? It just means a female dog.
But if you felt insulted by my comment I do apologize.
He just couldn't think of anything cooler than "bitch" so he used the Mod Card.
Is anyone digging YOUR ORDER's little intro? I like it but I don't understand a word #$!@#!

No, Raid, actually I can think of plenty of things, but we try not to flame each other or name-call like children. At least outside of the Killing Field. I'm letting it go, so can you?

What are you, fucking twelve? That's the kind of excuse my little brother would have used when he wanted to get away with something he knows is wrong.

Re: New Album 10.14.09-Ooparts
OK, time out, ya'll. I think I may have been misinterpreted there. I just figured Jomei/GR/both at once was going to pop in and dog the album in the usual way so I wagered a guess it'd be fine to try a little humor. I guess NOBODY likes wrestling on this board. My bad. I was prepared to use the Benoit 0/10 for when I was listening to the album if I thought it sucked, but by golly, I didn't agree, so I went for my Cena smile. What you just mentioned about the lead in Dance with God, that was something cool that I liked, actually. I thought the album was very gungho and balls out for the most part. I had the volume up pretty high, but it seemed like the mixing was great on the majority of the album. Also, the stuff that I liked from Pied Piper that I thought was overlooked/disliked was the stuff like in the chorus of Poison Rock and Roll, where it had those screeches that kinda sounded like a siren? That shit made the song complete for me. On the whole, Pied Piper was very ordinary, but there were a lot of little things that were implemented in a cool way. My thoughts on what I didn't like was that it move by very briskly, even moreso than Pied Piper did. Maybe it's a little too trim? Johnny Strobo in particular, I loved it; it struck just the right chord with me and when I realized that it was ending at 2:57 I was disappointed that the song was over. It felt like there should've been more to it. This seemed like a very adventurous album... HMMM, KINDA REMINDS ME OF THANK YOU MY TWILIGHT, what with all the hard rocking, high energy Engrish songs experimenting with electronic noises and synths, novelty songs and power ballads. Nobody has to agree with that right away or anything, it's just an observation. Yeah, it is a little too tense in this thread right now. Please keep that racket down, you'll wake the neighborhood!

Yeah, should have used bowling references instead, that would have been way more helpful.

It was not an excuse. Its a joke Mare, like you said it an immature comment, I meant it as joke to relief any tension. Its the internets you can't take everything seriously.

Re: New Album 10.14.09-Ooparts
I figured that for nostalgic reasons, I'd honor Jomei's request to put in my (worthless) 2 cents concerning OOPARTS. Dancing with God, and Jomei will disagree with me here, is the only decent song on the album. It sounds like something of SMILE. YOUR ORDER: I took a peek at the PV. Sawao looks coked out and even sounds like it, too. Song blows. Melody: Blows. Lemon Drops: I'm being generous here. It sounded like it could have SOME potential. But really not that much. Otherwise, it blows. FOXES: Blows. Beyond the moon: Attempting a ballad, Sawao? Blows. Johnny Strobe: Sounds like Beyond the moon but in a major key. Blows. Hybrid Rainbow after the rain: So he ran out of song titles? It's like the Predators all over again. Blows. LIFE SIZE LIFE: Blows. Primer Beat: Catchy. But still blows. This album confirms the fact that Sawao hasn't been able to write music for the latter part of this decade. Shit, the purists would argue that he stopped writing good music since 1998's Runners High (brace yourselves for the shit storm!). Jomei and myself have come to conclude that the only way Sawao is still keeping up with this farce, is by having Manabe and Shin-chan drugged. Honestly, that has to be the only explanation for them not having beat the shit out of Sawao for fucking up the band. The first 10 years of the band were perhaps their best. Particularly 1993 through 1998 when Kashima was running the bass department. Not to discredit Kenji, but it is a matter of personal preference that those 5 years showcased the peak of Sawao's song writing abilities. 1989 to 1993 were fun, nonetheless. 1998 to 2003 were decent. But ever since then? What the fuck? You call these songs, Sawao?

Come to think of it, I do believe my intelligence and sexuality are going to be questioned by most, if not certain, members of this community. Just like the old days, eh Mare?

Re: New Album 10.14.09-Ooparts
I wasn't disappointed with the overall album, it was very nice and fit well with its theme. Dance with God- Sounds really good, it sounds like it could be a great song for a live.
I have a feeling the opening and end will be amazing
I was right, amazing intro and ending YOUR ORDER- is one of my favorites it has a really catchy chorus and really nice lead. This song really grew on me and I really enjoy it. Melody- I love the chorus and had a great feeling from it from the live version of the song and fell in love with the album version the slow pace really fits well with the song. It still reminds me of a Johnny Tsunami song. I don't know why...? It just does. Either way its a really good song Lemon Drops- I thought this song would be my favorite from the beginning the intro is what I fell in love with. The chorus is catchy and I liked the flow of the song, but I really wished the song were more clear with the Engrish. That was the downer, still a very good song, its still one of my favorites. FOXES- Was oddly structured lyrically and I didn't like it very much, the intro was all that I really liked. This was the only disappointment of the album for me. Beyond the Moon- I thought this song would become one of my favorites, and I was right. I absolutely love the intro, it has an great Bass intro to go with the song. I like the chorus but its not as great as the ending, which I predicted would be amazing! The only thing is that I got lost in the song in the middle, like the intro hooked me in like no other then all of a sudden the second verse threw me off, I was expecting the chorus to kick in but it didn't. That made me loose my place and it was a bit unsettling. But I loved the ending, it made up for that part. Johnny Strobe- Is very interesting. I don't like the chorus so much but it was a nice listen maybe a few more listens and I might like the song more, who knows? Ameagari ni Mita Maboroshi- I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it. And I still love it
LIFE SIZE LIFE- This song doesn't feel quite right, I like the clip towards the end (not the title part but before he repeats Life size life) it might be very catchy.
I was right about it feeling a little off, it really needed Primer Beat after it. I really enjoyed it, I was also right that it would be catchy. Very nice song Primer Beat- I was wrong about Primer Beat, I really do enjoy it more now. After the entire listen it was the biggest surprise for me. I completely agree with Cloudy with the whole one-two punch thing with LIFE SIZE and Primer Beat. OVERALL: I really enjoyed the album and was not very happy in the end. Can't wait to get my own copy

Re: New Album 10.14.09-Ooparts
At first I was confused because I didn't think I said balls anywhere in there but then I read it back and lol'd. I roll balls of steel at the pins weakpoint for MASSIVE DAMAGE. Deal with it. But yeah, really wasn't my intention to appear as though I was flaming anybody. In the end I think most will enjoy this album well enough. It is terribly important for you guys to continue to speak against what you dislike. It keeps judgement reason-based and not obsession-based. I really am on your side, guys. If the "apologist" comment was directed at me then I couldn't disagree enough. I'd love to hear what you don't like about Ooparts, though. We may agree in more areas than you'd think. HOLY SHIT JEDI IS BACK WTF!? Good to hear! Yes, that OOPARTS sure is a rancid steaming pile isn't it?

I convinced Jedi to come back at least long enough to voice his Jedopinion on the album. I doubt he intends to make a full return. xD
