I once heard of an Asian who had 14souls. But I digress, back on topic kids.

Post Re: Pillows Tribute Album Sign-Ups
I just remembered that I tabbed out "Ladybird Girl" once, which GR or Mare may or may not have. It was pretty much perfect, including guitars, bass, and drums. If one of you has it, send it to me first, because it might be one of the versions that somebody else ruined with his suggestions.

Also, on second thought, we don't need a tabbing committee. We need a committee of people who have the band scores and GP5. If you fall under that category, it's time to get moving. Over the winter, I'm sure many of us will then have the opportunity to record them, but we want to have the tabs before then. Yeah, eventually we can tab out other songs and record those too, but that doesn't seem like a viable option at this point - at least not until next summer.

Hey, I helped out a lot with the bass part, if you recall. D:<

Alas, I no longer have the tab, it's dead with my old comp. Grey might have it though.

I don't recall what I did, let alone what you did. I was only joking, because all I remember, because it was entertaining, is that many of your changes ended up being wrong. Anyway, the song should be given a proper recording, methinks.

I know lol. Anybody that has the band score can get Ladybird scored out anyway (sadly all of my band scores are in storage...I wish I had the space to bring them with me, but it wasn't to be). I'm going to try to get some drums sequenced out, but that relies on me finding a new serial for the program I'm using, since I've been having a lot of trouble finding a good crack. Alternatively, if anybody knows a good alternative to Beatcraft for sequencing drums that I could pirate, that would be swell.

Sequence MIDI in GP5 => Export to Garage Band or Logic

If you really want shitty midi drums, then sure, I can do that.

All good drum machines and sequencers use MIDI. I am going to assume that the program you referred to does as well. It's the medium used to process the MIDI sequence that makes it sound good or bad. MIDI is just a language that says, "Snare here, hi-hat there..."

That said, using Logic or Garage Band should meet sufficient standards, although I am sure there are other equivalent (or better) alternatives.

I said "shitty" MIDI, lol. I dunno, I'll score some stuff out if I get the time soon.

I would hope that a MIDI sequence run through a $500 program - or a derivative program - that happens to specialize in MIDI would not be qualified as "shitty."

It's probably just Vista...the audio loves to do random shit, and we all know how GP likes to randomly stutter or whatever the fuck it does.

The arrow meant that you were to use GP5 to sequence the drums, not to play them back. That is what Garage Band/Logic is for.

From Budokan Thread:
I was going to use this album cover design for my personal cover project, but you guys could have it since I'm not releasing my album anyway.

Also, I turned my room into a studio, in fact I may even be sound proofing it today. Anyway the point is, I own a copy of logic, so ai could help put this album together if you guys want.

For a sample of how my studio sounds, you could listen/watch my ano hito... song that I used for the contest ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaYcoXAOU4Q )or this ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTb4e3MT ... annel_page ).
