Im watching your video right now. Great voice! -- work a bit on the Japanese phonetics. I know it can be hard considering its not a language you speak (I assume) but getting those phonetics really makes a difference. Listen to the song and write out the lyrics in a way you can understand all the subtle nuances that are in the Japanese language.

I like your guitar arrangement, its different, but works.

If you can, use a better camera...its a small gripe -- but the video and sound are out of sync. I would recommend the flip mino HD. They're small, HD, cheap (under $200), and use flash memory as opposed to mini dv tapes which makes editing a whole long easier.

That does help, yeah the phonetics are a little hard to sync when your playing and singing
The camera part is not much of a problem. I just used my shitty webcam to get another cover
up on my channel, I was going crazy. I'll do the contest with a way better camera and microphone.

The song itself is fun and you can get lost in it, I hadn't practiced that song for very long, I just
started singing with it, I always knew how to play it, but never took the time to sing along.

We talked about this briefly on the moletown forum yesterday...quality of video and/or performance MUST be taken into account, because spamming videos for increased views is very common. Of course, tell all your friends to watch the vids, but make sure you perform well too!

I'll about agree with the other feedback so far. Guitar arrangement works, your voice sounds great - you can probably be helped by perfecting some of the phonetics in a place or two, and by seeing if you can get you hands on a better camera. In principle it's sounding really good, but Patricia may also be a more popular (especially acoustic) choice, so it's important than your own version is a knockout.

Sounds pretty good Byre. I'd work on singing out a little bit more, but you sound better than most of the people who have posted videos in response to the contest so far.
