I would like to do Funny Bunny Vocals+rythm and possibly the Skeleton Liar vocals+rythm if nobody else would like to do those parts. Edit: What happened to Swanky Street, I remember it had more votes than Funny Bunny and yet its not on the list. I would like to do vocals+rythm for Swanky if it gets on the list.
Ive already got the rhythm to SL :/ I dont think anybody has the vox though.

OK wow, have you guys seen this yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtLXibBtYvI I think we have perfect timing with this tribute album, this is the coolest contest ever! I think we should defintiely enter each song we do into the contest, and hopefully someone from IM will win!

If we DO win, how do we decide who goes and who stays?

Re: Pillows Tribute Album Sign-Ups
You're supposed to pick only one song in a 24 hour period, that period being between 6:43 pm EST one day and the next. Any picks made without 24 hours elapsing are null, kids. Also, assuming I can use my gfs amp to record sometime starting in mid-June, I can actually do rhythm guitar as well, so I'll be doing both rhythm and vox instead of just vox on Spiky Goose if possible.

Re: Pillows Tribute Album Sign-Ups
I'll volunteer for vocals/guitar for whatever's needed. Preferably Funny Bunny, and I'm looking at Skeleton Liar but haven't ever tried singing that chorus.
edit: Actually, I'm game for the following
Funny Bunny Skeleton Liar Robotman Moon Marguerite Sunday
I can do vocals and/or guitar, but I think there are some wicked lead players here, so I'd prefer to have one of them tackle those. Also, if anyone is interested in a doing a different song together with a more creative twist on the cover, let me know.

Re: Pillows Tribute Album Sign-Ups
I won't be getting recording equipment until later on this summer (July/early August), but I'd be interested in in the bass for One Life, and any other song that needs a bassist.
I also have a sequencer and some pretty good drum samples, so I'd be willing to program drums, too.

Re: Pillows Tribute Album Sign-Ups
So I just realized something, A while back Mare was talking about using Window's Media Player and mess with the balance to hear Yamanaka's or Manabe's guitar parts for Robotman, and then I tried it with other songs that we're trying to tab and I think if we did that, the tabbing committee will have an easier time tabbing out the songs since we can hear each separate guitar. Now i'm not sure if it'll work on all songs, but most of them that were on our Tribute album worked.

Re: Pillows Tribute Album Sign-Ups
So I don't understand why I am not the only vocalist for Strange Chameleon since I used my one signup for it.
Today I would like to use one on the rhythm for Strange Chameleon
I guess since nobody is following the one a day rule and placing their future picks already I'll do it as well. I really want to do Skeleton Liar's vocals as well as Bokura no Harei Susei's vocals and rhythm.

You are the only vocalist. Your name is in bold, indicating that you have priority. The others have (?)'s, which means that if you are generous enough to let others participate, those are the ones to go to. However, it's all yours, dude. Also, "today" doesn't start until 6:43 PM EST, as I explained in the first post. I'll put you up for that then, assuming no one else takes the part.

It's whomever signs up first, not whomever calls it first. If you "call" it, you're basically just showing your intent to sign up for it. If someone else signs up for it anyway, you're out of luck. However, common courtesy suggests that you don't sign up for something another person "calls" unless you really want that part.
I was pretty clear in my first post. The few questions I've seen concerning the rules have already been answered in that post, so I suggest everyone read it before acting confused. Granted, I did make up this system as I went, so it may not be air tight - so if you have a legitimate query, don't hesitate to ask. However, so far, I think it's pretty damn good and fair.
As far as using these for the copy band contest...the players can decide whether or not to submit their entry upon meeting, and it's as simple as that. Just remember that you can only have one entry into the contest.
