I'm still rockin the ridge racer 4 and 5 and the ace combat 4 and Zero osts. Fantastic stuff. Namco really knows how to do their music.

Such is the case with every FF game prior to FF 10.
But yeah, dark messanger was definately in the top ten overall. I'm looking forward to a black mages arrangement of it in the next album.

Yea, FFX music sucked ass. I downloaded the Piano Collection and was highly disappointed. This might make me sound like a fanboy, but my favorite video game music tracks are:
1) FFVII main theme
2) Aerith's theme

IIRC the FFX OST wasn't entirely composed by Uematsu. :/ There were a few good songs though.

Re: Video Game Music Masashi Hamauzu helped compose some of the tracks for FFX, and the tracks that he helped compose were pretty legit. He also composed the music for SaGa Frontier 2, which I highly recommend to you guys.
