How do we feel about Mare deleting discussion posts? Several of my responses to him in the Album Art thread were just deleted. (To be clear, these were non-personal comments and non-inflammatory).

Is this type of moderation something you guys are cool with, or do you regard this as a bad move, and potentially an abuse of mod power?

What I do as a mod, or try to do, is find a way to help make this community a nice place to be a pillows fan. You can ignore a reminder to be nicer to people all you want and toe the line all you want, but if you fly into a spew of meta drama posts (including cursing, in GR's case) over someone simply reminding people in general of mutual politeness about stuff, you are kind of being absurd. As mentioned before, I'm done arguing and furthering drama, and you have all been told to stop as well. Relax.

Deleting posts is part of being a mod, and deleting off-topic posts is a part of forum moderation.

Some other specifics about the situation are under discussion but unless you can honestly tell me that your posts were on-topic I don't see a general issue here. Please PM if you'd like to discuss more.
