There has been like, a shitload of bots registering for the forum. They're easy to weed out, because they just fill out their forum profiles (complete with sketchy website URL) and are never heard from again.

Check out the member-list. There has been over a dozen of them just in the last day:

Is there some kind of extra verification during registration process that we can implement on the forum to prevent this from happening?

I'm calling bullshit on those "human" claims, MiLaskinaPa.

We had that, but Terra turned it off so that she wouldn't need to individually approve new accounts. The bots actually try to post sometimes, but it's easy for me to just disapprove the posts (very new accounts cannot post without mod approval to prevent botspam).

There's an extra verification question but every so often it seems the bots or whoever is running the bots figures it out and I just update. And as Mare said, they can't post anything initially without approval. I've updated the question and will take care of the bots.
