 yay.
the forum is working again (as should be self-evident).
if you're curious what happened- my hosting provider disabled scripting (in other words, they did not allow php code to run, which is what this board is built from) on my account because of alleged abuse. apparently there were too many processes running amok. how or why, i still don't know. anyway, after a few days of no response to my support request, i just called them and they re-enabled scripting.

Lucky for you. I -did- kill myself, but the brain parasite hosting my personality happened to find the nearest creature with opposable thumbs (A raccoon digging in my garbage.) and inhabit its body long enough to make a couple of posts and perform the proper surgery on my corpse to get it running again. I woke, drooling and dumb, and was found mere minutes later snarling and chewing on the poor critter's ear, and was not, as was believed by the witness, 'making out' with the raccoon. The parasite needed a path to reinhabit my body, and so it chose what it believed to be the most amusing way. I'm glad the forum is back online and nothing is wrong, and so is the raccoon. His name is Frederick. He is my friend.
