Wow, I had no idea you guys would have considered me for mod. True, I don't post as much, but before I got into all the other Japanese bands I posted pretty infrequently. Also, though I registered back in fall '05 or so, I lurked IM for as long as it existed, and Planet Pillows for a while before that. For a long time, I was to shy to post; I tend to lurk a long time before joining [i]any[/i] forum.

I'm actually on semi-vacation from IM at the moment, so unless someone decides to make me a mod, I'll probably be out for a while from these forums. But regardless, I'd be glad to do it.

While I'm here, I might as well give an explanation for my antagonism towards Tatsu. I used to have no beef with him; as recently as last fall he seemed like a pretty ordinary forum member. But between spamming and acting obnoxious/flaming/stirring up trouble, I have no reason not to be harsh on him. It's even worse now that he's kicking up trouble at Keikaku - I registered there back in January, and everything was going fine; catfish posed every so often, but mostly acted normal on those forums. Then Culen started posting all the time and more recently Tatsu has shown up and started disturbing the peace at an otherwise civil, though elitist, forum. Unfortunately this is probably all my fault, caused when I invited Culen to Distortional Addict.

i would rather not have a complete and utter fanboy(self-confessed) as a mod on the forum. If it's not me, which probably won't happen, I nominate jomei. Even though I disagree with him a lot, and a lot of things think his opinion sucks or is wrong, he'd be pretty unbiased. maybe sickeningly so. He's shown a sense of humour, too. We're still working with mare on one.

You started that shit on keikaku. So don't act like you're innocent fag.

Oh my. Tatsu, remember how you said you'd avoid a ban as long as you didn't break any rules? You should remember that people get banned for overusing homosexual slurs and attacking other forum members. Just a little hint of advice, if you want to remain here, you should probbly tone it down.

Besides guys, Terra already said who she wants as mod.

Hahaha, Tatsu is so predictable you can practically set your watch by his fussing. Actually, Culen and the others started it when they began spamming this forum, and it was just bad luck that it came up on Keikaku. Cluen has, for the most part, been reasonable on that forum.. While I've been a civil poster on Keikaku excluding a somewhat angry post or two, all you've contributed is to talk about how much you hate stuff. And since being unbanned, you've pretty much done the same thing here! As long as you [i]choose[/i] to act stupid, then you're getting no sympathy from me, pal.

No, actually, if you're going to be critical of III, you should try being being reasonable and using grown-up logic instead of "Matsushita's stupid! Thinliine's stupid! I HATE EVERYONE!"

Like I've stated [i]numerous[/i] times, I have no problem with people disagreeing with my opinions on music and other things when they're willing to be civil about it. For example, "I think Matsushita's playing on Zazen III needed to match the spontaneity and improvisation of the rest of the band, rather than serving only to keep time. However, most likely, Mukai is holding him back in the studio, especially in comparison to live performances" would be a much better critique than, "I HATE MATSUSHITA, HE'S A DRUM MACHINE, BLWEARGH!" You, however, just want to talk about how much you hate everything instead of constructive or even civil criticism.

To be honest, I think most of us are inclined to agree with Thinline here. Tatsu seems to post on IM primarily to make rude remarks.

All right, I've been at IM for a while, not nearly as long as many of you, but long enough. I've read a lot of the old posts in the forum, and I can definitely see who's a reasonable sort and who's not.

As far as I can tell, Tatsu-kun started to be a major bitch right before he was banned and now it's just escalated into constant PMS. Dude, take a chill-pill

Jomei, Thinliine, Mare, and GR have always been around making the forum an enjoyable place with their comments, insights, opinions, and general good characters. All of them have been nice to me, and I rarely have seen a cross word come out of their fingers that was undeserved. I'd personally be good with any of them as mod, but I'd have to say Jomei gets my first vote. He seems to be the most level-headed around here, and that really counts.

Only the recent trolling has really stirred up how everyone's been reacting, and I say after we get a new mod (or three) things'll go back to normal and troll attacks will hopefully become negligible in nature. Terra's said that she's got no opposition to making Jomei or GR a mod. Why must we bicker about this? It's out of our hands--the only thing we can do is try persuading Jomei and GR into this mod position.

To clouds + tatsu:
All we're trying to do is restore some serenity to the forum. If whoever terra appoints as a mod starts fucking up, just say so, but at least give them a chance. Whoever becomes mod doesn't really matter.
