before this whole mare/culen conflict i think i'd have agreed that mare could be a good candidate but he may be a bit biased? -_-

Biased in what way? Standing up against trolling (even though the escalation was a bit much) is considered a good thing in my book.
zenkalia, would you rather have a mod that is OK with Culen's negative and many times spammy posts on this forum?

i guess if mare had ban power it wouldn't have escalated to that, but the fact that it did escalate doesn't fare well for a mod who should be chill but not afraid to lay down the law.

But Mare [i]couldn't[/i] lay down the law, cause he wasn't a mod. In retrospect, it would've been best to just try to ignore Culen...but really, that's pretty tough when there's some total assholery being dished out.
Maybe if Mare [i]were[/i] a mod, he could've just deleted some offensive postings...hm.
