I think that my main point here is being missed. GR broke no rules.

Not only that, but it's okay for you to call people names, but not for others to criticize you for what you say about other forum members, even if they aren't calling you names.

The mature thing to do would be to admit that you made a bad move and unban GR.

Err, even though Joyeuse agreed with me on the thread and everything, I'm going to have to say that I don't think that GR was supposed to be banned.

By saying that "that was a pussy move" he was really saying, "I expect more of you, Joyeuse " GR's usually an amiable fellow and it's not like he was trying to flame you or slander you in any way. He just thought you could justify your statement rather than throwing sand into sheer's eyes.

I can't say I agree with the banning. From my perspective, Plat [i]could[/i] construe it as a personal insult, but I look at it more as a criticism of his earlier statement. Also, we all know that name-calling and teasing goes on around here. I wouldn't ban someone for it unless it was especially malicious or persistent.

Anyway, we don't need to discuss this any further. terra can unban GoldenRhino if she sees fit. Until then, I don't think it's appropriate for me to overturn the ban, and I think we can drop it.

edit: I'm locking this. Everyone needs to chill out a little bit. Grey will be back in a week or less if the ban is lifted, and he will probably never be banned again. We all know he isn't here to start trouble.
