 yay hooray long story short, after many frustrating, fruitless attempts to run the migration process on this site and multiple support phone calls and emails to my hosting provider, i finally got it to work and here we are again.  they've been pretty good otherwise, so i don't plan on switching at the moment- no provider is perfect, and in that case i would have to migrate everything manually. :/
anyway... hi again!

Finally! I thought it was strange that a few days was the equivalent of over a month, but I guess that since this is such a good thing to have the boards back, I am not one to complain about it.
