Steven, if you listen to some Melodic Death Metal, you might just like it. I can't stand any metal anymore, but some of the guitar playing is decent. |

I don't get it.[/quote] no, i'm calling it lame that it's as hardcore as it gets on this board. look, yngwie sucks. yeah, he can shred licks with the best of them, but he's so fucking boring, and he often sounds like a chihuaua screaming for your attention like "YIP! YIP! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT MY SWEEP PICKING! I'M SO GOOD! I'M THE BEST!!!" The only occasion I would listen to him is when Daisy rips that one solo, because it's just so amusing to watch. And I don't like death metal, mostly. Only Opeth. Mostly I listen to Meshuggah, the swedish 8-string band with the obscene time signatures, Fantômas (who are not as much metal as they are just an avant-fuck band), and very occasionally Slayer. |
