Post Surf?
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/threedays_music.htm

I got hooked on surf music a few years back, and I guess this

is my attempt at it. I would say it has more of a Pixies twist than most surf

music.

It's not perfect, because every track was the first take.

I liked it somewhat sloppy, but just let me know what you guys think.

EDIT: I titled it Twenty-Five because there is a special classical section.

Thanks.

Although, I think I should tone down my genre hoping.

You listened to it right?

That's the point.

I just wanted people to wonder what could be soooo bad about a jazz

song.

Plus, it might make some little kid's head hurt.

This song was pretty intense stoned im listening to it right now acvtually and I'm flying high so listen - the drums sound authentic actually - thats really cool - this is really dark surf, I hope you know that. Its usually much brighter and sunnier. It's really rockish too, just the beat and all. I dig, of course - but it could easily be classified under another genre using surf music techniques and guitar tones as well as melodies as a feature of the genre making it even cooler all-in-all. it has like, it's own genre.

btw your pentatonic shred from way back is fucking one of the best songs stoned for one reason. It's bloody intense - the pentatonic bendy riffs are melty and bitterly woven in a good yum its pretty awesome

Ciidric, the surf tune took a turn for the weird because I find most of my surf
influence from Dick Dale and the Deltones and Pixies. I even stuck in a bit of Mozart's 25'th symphony just because.

Thanks for listening Ciidric and Bushpig.

I was checking the charts on sound click and the highest the song got to was

#4, so I guess that's good. Well, it actually sucks if you listen to the #1 song

on there.

I am changing alot of stuff around, mostly adding in songs with vocals
and trying some new stuff.
I saved up enough money to buy some new equipment, but I haven't
bought anything yet.
And as soon as I find a drummer and rhythm guitar player I will start looking
for some clubs again.

So, it looks like it will be a few months regardless.

:(
