Learning to play an instrument
I'm surprised there's no generic thread for music learning. I didn't find one, at least.
Anyway, I was thinking of picking up an electric keyboard and learning to play the piano or learning to play guitar. I'm leaning towards piano now because everyone plays guitar, and I think the piano can be more flexible and won't have the hassle of having to tune strings or adjust pedals and pickups. Any advice from some busters out there? TA, I know you (used to?) play piano like a boss, so any input from you would be appreciated.

Re: Learning to play an instrument
I've been thinking about learning how to play guitar properly right about any time now...but I think I also need to start learning how to play the drums, which I let slip by the wayside after starting to get okay at some basic beats a ways back.
Seems like piano would be an easy one to learn without necessarily having to pay for lessons, in addition to being all-around useful and purty as hell. No advice, as I can't piano, but good luck!
