I come bearing gifts, IM. These gals might be the next band from Japan worth listening to. Think somewhere nestled among Zazen Boys, 9mm Parabellum Bullet, and perhaps Mass of the Fermenting Dregs. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about them, but they seem to be brand-spanking new.

My lead guitarist showed them to me a couple months back. They've got some good songs. But I never got attached, for whatever. Surprisingly, I never thought to post them here or on Distortional Addict.

And yes. The Zazen Boys jams are killer. :shred: :shred:

The indie scene in Japan has absorbed a lot of that Zazen Boys-like math rock jam vibe for sure.

Picked these gals up a while back, was not disappointed. Pretty slick rock.

I like it. I actually want to pay for this. I don't like buying CDs so much anymore though.

Bad news: Damn you, Amazon Japan. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since you can't buy directly from iTunes Japan either. I only researched for a little bit - is there in fact a way to get mp3s from Amazon Japan? Amazon's FAQ just says NO.

Good news: a few of the songs are on US Amazon, iTunes and Google Play (and they're cheaper :P).

Yeah, new album is great. Not as math-y which I personally am a fan of. New drummer this go round.

This band is kinda blowing up, way more well known than most of the artists we like.

And they're on Spotify! Time to dig in.
