Soundgarden + Rage Against the Machine =/= Audioslave.
I like them, but I prefer their older incarnations. I do have hopes for the new album, though.

Yeah, I've been waiting for some new stuff for a while as well.
I've heard the new single and it sounds pretty good. Haven't had a chance to see the video though.

I don't like AS too much. Too straightforward hard rock for my taste, Cornell's voice is but a shadow of what it used to be, and Morello's riffs get tiresome very fast.
I was (and still am) a sucker for everything Soundgarden, though.
